Strawberry Patch Lemonade

Strawberry season is my absolute favorite time of year. When I lived in California, I remember all the strawberry stands that would be on the side of the roads with strawberries the size of a baseball. Then to cool off I enjoy a delicious glass of lemonade. Why not combine fresh strawberries and lemonade for a refreshing glass of strawberry patch lemonade?

I never would have thought it would be so easy to turn such a classic summer drink into something so good. It’s one thing to eat fresh strawberries, but it’s another thing to blend them up and put them into a lemonade. After a long swim in the pool, I need to have a cold drink while I soak up some warm rays.

When I think of strawberry lemonade I always think of Cafe Rio and Hot Dog on a Stick. Every time I go someplace to eat that has strawberry lemonade I have to get it. I will even pass up Diet Coke for strawberry lemonade. So to have this refreshing strawberry patch lemonade on hand I feel like I am not cheating on any diet (or thought of a diet) that I am trying to do.

I really don’t want summer to come to an end, but it’s like they always say, “All good things must come to an end!” But definitely one thing that doesn’t need to end is the endless supply of strawberry patch lemonade in our fridge. If you are wanting a refreshing drink for summer time, than this is the drink for you.
