Our Fitbit Challenge

Walt Disney once said, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” For years I have been been up and down when it comes to getting in shape and being healthy. The funny thing is, I get more into being healthy when the summer months are approaching, but this year is going to be different because my wife and I are going to do this together.

The best part of working on this together is that it motivates the both of us to try to do a little better, but we have also created a way of tracking how we are doing on weight loss, measurements, water intake, healthies (eating healthy snacks), and also tracking our spiritual growth.

Another way that we have found useful to helping us achieve our goals to lose weight is we have connected with each other using our Fitbits to track our steps, calories burned, miles walked, water intake (when we don’t have our sheet with us all the time), and who is doing better. A little extra motivation throughout the day is always a fun idea.

Now that the weather is getting warmer it makes tracking our steps so much better because we get to go on neighborly walks all around with our fun little family.

So what are you waiting for? Get off the computer, get outside, and get in shape. Summer is just around the corner.
