Halloween Book Collection

Our kids love reading books! One of the highlights for each upcoming holiday is bringing out our collection of books. Halloween is one of our favorites because the books are so cute we can never put them down.

Here is a round up of our favorite Halloween books.

Frank Was a Monster Who Wanted to Dance

Frank was a Monster who Wanted to Dance

Frank wanted to dance so he put ants in his pants and did a little boogie dance. The only problem is that once he dances, his parts fall off. We love reading this book and especially love to read it while we eat our favorite Halloween candies that go right along with the story.

Room on the Broom

Room on the Broom

The cutest book about a witch and her friends. She finds room for all of them on her broom. If you love this book, Netflix has a little animated movie of the story that we watch daily during the month of October and often the rest of the year.

The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything

The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything

This book is about a woman who goes walking in the woods and keeps hearing noises. She runs scared to her home and then realizes that she is not afraid of anything and tells the things following her to go away. I love reading this to my kids and reminding them that the scary things of Halloween are not real.

We're Off to Find the Witch's House

We’re Off to Find the Witch’s House

Goes to the story rhythm of We’re goin on a Bear Hunt and they meet lots of spooky things on the way.

Alpha Oops! H is for Halloween

A fun A-Z book about Halloween. Its great for reinforcing letters and introducing halloween costumes.

Frankenstein

The cutest board book introducing children to classic literature. Frankenstein introduces body parts and simple aspects of the classic book. Read it, I know you’ll love it!
