Early Learner Starter Kit

Having toddlers, preschoolers or kindergartners at home can be tiring! They are busy and need constant stimulation. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite learning tools for beginning learners. These are tools that I’ve collected over the years that have proven successful and entertaining for my kids. I hope you find the same.

Counting Bears

This is my favorite manipulative for preschool age kids! Counting, sorting, patterns, adding, you name it and it can be done with these bears. I loved this particular set because it comes with 20 activities to do with you kids.

Think Fun Roll and Play

This was one of the first learning games I bought for our oldest. It is great for 12 month to two years but my bigger kids still like to play it. Plus the dice can be used for more than just this game.

ABC Cookies

Four games in one! Letter identification, matching and letter squencing skills in one location. Plus they are super cute!

Alphabet GO Fish

Learning letters is huge for preparing kids for Kindergarten. There is no better way to prepare than with a game!

Farmers Market Color Sorting Set

We purchased this for our kids for Christmas and it is the most well loved toy! The kids love cleaning it up and have learned to master their colors and the names of the food while they do it.

A-Z Groceries

I love imaginative play! My kids love playing store and house. This food is great because it is not only sturdy and well made but it reinforces letters. They can use them to play or I can add them into a center activity.

Counting Shape Stacker

It is never too early to start teaching your children! I love this puzzle because it teaches shapes, colors, numbers and counting. This is a great learning tool for 18 months and older.

Sight Word Swat

There are so many ways to play this game! Kids go wild because they get to use a little force. If you have multiple readers the competition is endless.

Zingo

Being able to read sight words at first glance will bring the greatest success to early reading. It is all about repetition!
