She is Awesome

I never really was into following other bloggers because, lets face it, I hate reading and never really have time to read all their different posts about crafting, DIY, or how to bake a whole 30 chocolate soufflé. Let’s be real, this dad doesn’t have time to try those things out, but good for you and keep up the great work!

But I’ll tell you one thing I love to do and that’s watch The Alison Show YouTube video series on How to be Awesome.

At first I was like, “This girl is crazy and I don’t know if I can listen to these.” But then I was listening to one because I was thinking about how I could keep up this blogging business and she did it for me. She was so inspiring and brought my attitude right back up.

Alison has these different series that she does, I’m not gonna lie, I have watched them all multiple times. But the one that got me the most was Avoiding the Comparison Trap. I would look at all these other amazing blogs and see what inventive things you do and think to myself, “There is no way in hell I can do what these people do!” I felt like I was running myself ragged trying to keep up with the Kardashians, so to speak.

When I saw this video, Alison helped me realize that I do have talents and that I can share them with others out there. I am unique and I can share what I know with all of you.

Thank you Alison for being awesome and taking the time to create the How to be Awesome series for all of us out here that just need a little pick me up now and again.

You truly are an inspiration!
