A Hard Habit to Break

You know those nights when your baby keeps waking up, screaming, and so all you want do is bring them into your room to sleep with you. It doesn’t happen often but when it does getting a good night’s sleep is worth it.  It totally makes things so much easier for a few reasons: they’re right there for feeding, the crying stops, and you can cuddle them like crazy.

The funny thing is I feel like moms are the ones that get a bad wrap for this because they are the ones feeding the baby. I will be honest with you though, I am usually the one that is bringing the baby into our bed with us when he wakes up in the night screaming.

I just don’t know if I will ever be able to get him to sleep through the night. He wakes up screaming bloody murder and so I go in, change his diaper, and he isn’t a cuddlier, but he is at this time. So I love to take him in our bed and just snuggle with him. I mean, who doesn’t love snuggling a cute little baby right?

I know that I have to stop soon before we make it a habit, but when he wakes up screaming and we try to get through it for 30 minutes I just can’t handle it. How do people do it?
