Favorite Halloween Events in Utah

For my family and I, we love spending time together during these fall evenings. We love going out as a family, but also my wife and I love doing the many spooky events that are going on. Whether they are free events or I have to pay, it’s nice to get out and try new things. Halloween events have become a fun family tradition that we are excited for this year with this new list of favorites.

We don’t do everything on this list, but we have done quite a few of them and I will say they’re great. Some, better than others, but nonetheless, we enjoy trying them out.

Favorite Halloween Events in Utah by The Modern DadOne of our Halloween activity traditions is Witch Fest at Gardner Village. We love getting all the family together, doing the free scavenger hunt with all the kids, and seeing the spooky witches walking around. This was something my family had done before I was married with my own kids. So I love carrying on the tradition to my own little family.

Favorite Halloween Events in Utah by The Modern DadIf you do the scavenger hunt, just a little tip. Most of the witches are pretty easy to find. You have to make sure to walk around everywhere. But as for the witch withe the “eye” phone, she was the hardest. Now, I’m not just going to tell you where she is, but if you’re at the bakery…you’re getting warmer. She took us the longest to find, but nonetheless, we had a great time seeing them all.

Favorite Halloween Events in Utah by The Modern DadAnother favorite around here is getting pumpkins in a actual pumpkin patch. We love being the field and looking for that perfect pumpkin. Feels very Charlie Brown’s Halloween. Taking the kids out to find the pumpkin they absolutely love is magical. They have a blast looking at all the different types. We enjoy getting different pumpkins for our front porch. Whatever it is, fall is more fun getting out in the pumpkin patches and getting your pumpkin.
